Paul Walters ... a true Clifford T. Ward fan
Terry Wogan:

Paul Walters was to love him. His character was in his smile"
 Paul Walters, the long-time producer of
BBC Radio 2 Wake Up To
Wogan,
has died in hospital after a long illness. He was 59.
Paul was known as 'Dr Wally' to Sir Terry Wogan's Radio 2 listeners and
the TOGs. He
was also most recently presented with the 'Clifford T aWard'
at the recent
September 2006 Convention.
Paul has been a
consistent supporter who has indeed helped to 'keep the music and memory alive'
and was unanimously nominated
by the Fan
Club to be formally acknowledged for his work
