I used to live in his family home in Erneley Close, Stourport. It's good to hear they play his songs on 'Classic Gold', down here in Wellington NZ.

Just driven to Italy and back having listened to CTW. Can't stop singing the songs.
The English soldiers who died in France and the feeling of guilt about selfish moaning is just awe inspiring.
My best friend died of MS and I was saddened when I discovered that this was how CTW also died.

Hallo fellow fans
Ive always loved CTW's voice. "Gaye" takes me back to a time when my brother had not long married and he had acquired a sister-in-law called Gaye. So the song always reminds me of my brother and family. My brother Charles emigrated at about that time and unfortunately died in Aussie two weeks ago. My favourite songs are "scullery" and "home thoughts". R.I.P. Clifford, a poet and a gentleman.

Hi. Thought you might be interested to know that the Brian Kennedy version of Gaye is now released as a single in Ireland and he is busy promoting it round the radio stations. He's done a grand job and I'm sure Cliff would've been so pleased.
Lots of love. xxxx

What can one say, and luckily we still have the Radio 2 DJs to let us hear his music. Home Thoughts from Abroad is the most amazing song ever written, the words mean so much to so many people. We will never forget him. His music is in our hearts xxx Diddily dee dot.xxx

Thank you for keeping the memory alive!
I came across this great singer/songwriter just a week ago. They played "Home thoughts from abroad" on an English internet radio station (being from Germany I had never heard of him before). Listening to this song got me hooked. I spent half the night on youtube watching Clifford T. Ward videos. His beautiful songs are so familiar to me right from the first listening - Thank you so much, Clifford T.!!!
