I have been out of touch with CTW affairs for many years. Back in '96 ( I think it was ) I went to a Convention. CTW was still alive. I went to his Funeral, but did nothing after that. I used to be in touch with Liz Williams. Anyone know her email address ?

Everyone must listen to a brilliant version of Home Thoughts I have just heard on Youtube.
It's by a band called This Wicked Tongue.
Quiet start and a real 'rocker' at the end. Different for sure but isn't great that someone's still out there recording his songs.
They make some lovely comments about Clifford in the blurb.
Could it be a hit? Who knows?

It is so rare to have a songwriter that all his songs touch your soul.Clifford was and is that writer for me.Sounding as fresh today as they did when he wrote them.I have all Cliffords recorded works but know there are other recordings .Are there any more plans to release any more recordings on the line on The Kinver Sessions..

I've been purchasing of late the Cherry Red CD releases of Clifford's great albums. What a talent this man was? "Gaye" has stuck in my head from the age of 13 and has never gone away.
A nice site, thanks.

I loved CTW's work and stumbled across one of his albums in Reckless Records in Soho one lunchtime about twenty years ago.
I took the record back to work and showed my workmates, one of who was Simon Ward, one of Clifford's sons. Weird! I haven't seen Simon for years and would love to catch up with him. I don't know if anyone on the site has any info. but I'd love to know what he's up to.

Happy New Year to all!
Pleasantly surprised today to see hardback Bittersweet on Amazon at £117.50. I must look after mine a bit better and just use the paperback for reference.

Find out this great singer-songwriter when I'm 50 years old, make me wonder what I was listening to the last 30 years.
Wonderful discovery, an absolute jewel.
Congratulations for your good job. From Spain, "un abrazo".
